Nostalgiadragster from Rauma

Old is better than new…this can be said when getting acquainted with the phases of nostalgic front engine dragster from Rauma. The fact that the dragster itself is already aged is not the only special feature in this device.

 The history of dragsters in America go far and nowadays there are at least three similar dragsters in Finnish ownership, which is a delightful progress in the field of nostalgic know-how. With this equipment there has been racing in America since 1960’s till all the way to the beginning of 1990s. After that it landed to Rauma, a city in the West Coast of Finland, where it has been managed by a team Milners (a.ka. Nostalgia Racing Team from Rauma).

The last few years FED (front engine dragster) has rested in a garage waiting to be taken back into action… Also setting it on display at a museum has crossed the minds of the owners.
